To know K & R is to love them. Their kindness, laughter, and genuine way of showing up for each other makes being around them feel like sunshine.
K and I first met years ago while working together at a local credit union, long before I had officially opened my photography business. We became fast friends, and when I eventually stepped fully into photography, they trusted me with one of the biggest days of their lives, their wedding. That was almost five years ago now, and it still holds such a special place in my heart as one of my very first solo weddings.
Why I Love Documenting Every Chapter
One of the things I treasure most about being a photographer is the way it allows me to grow alongside the people I photograph. Storytelling and relationship building weave together over the years, turning moments into chapters. I get to witness the milestones, the shifts, and the beautiful in-between seasons.
For K & R, the next chapter in their story was parenthood. And let me tell you, it felt like the most natural and perfect thing for them. K was born to be a mother. She carries a warmth and grace that makes everyone around her feel at home. R is a shining example of a devoted husband and the kind of father who will fill his child’s life with play, adventure, and unconditional love.
